I am a proud husband, father of six awesome kids, and owner of two appropriately name dogs. I am also a strongman enthusiast, who is constantly looking for new and creative ways to test my strength. My journey in fitness began when I was young but derailed in my early 20s. As a busy life/work schedule with too much travel and poor habits slowed me down. I decided to address what was keeping me from changing and it has helped shape who I am today.
I have always been fascinated by the idea of pushing myself to the limits and discovering what I am truly capable of. It’s this drive that led me to the world of strongman, where I found my true calling. I always loved watching the reruns of the old school strongman events. Little did I know I would be lifting cars or throwing kegs someday. The thrill of picking up heavy weights or pulling a giant truck, the adrenaline rush of a challenging workout, and the sense of accomplishment after a successful event, is what keeps me coming back to the gym. Strongman and Crossfit are more similar then you think.
My wife Virginia and I are enthusiasts of almost anything outdoors, who love participating in OCR races and oddball competitions/challenges. We believe that fitness is not just about looking good or feeling healthy, but it’s also about finding new ways to challenge yourself and discover your true potential.
